Trust Estate (Pvt) Ltd. ("Trust Estate", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through trustestate.pk and through enquiries made by phone, email, or in person. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
01 — What we collect
We try to collect the smallest amount of information required to do the work. In practice, that means three categories:
- Enquiry information — your name, contact details, the address of your plot, and the details of your project, when you submit them through our contact form, by email, or by phone.
- Project records — drawings, photographs, contracts, supplier invoices, and meeting notes generated in the course of working with you. These are kept in our internal archive.
- Site analytics — anonymised page-level data about visits to trustestate.pk, used to understand which pages are useful and which are not.
We do not collect financial information through the website. Project payments are arranged by direct bank transfer or cheque, off-platform.
02 — How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry within two business days, and arrange a first plot visit if appropriate.
- Carry out the design, approvals, and construction of your project, including coordination with statutory authorities (SBCA, LDA, CDA) where required.
- Maintain a confidential project archive, so that any future owner or maintenance team can refer back to the original drawings and specifications.
- Improve the website and our written communications.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
03 — Sharing
We share your information only where it is required to deliver your project, or where the law obliges us to. Specifically:
- With statutory authorities (SBCA, LDA, CDA, Sindh Heritage) when filing for plan approvals.
- With sub-consultants — for example, structural engineers or landscape designers — under written confidentiality terms equivalent to our own.
- With your bank or our bank, where a transaction needs to be evidenced.
We do not publish a project, photograph, or drawing without your written permission. About a third of our work is publicly visible; the rest sits in a private archive.
04 — Cookies
The website uses a small number of first-party cookies to remember your menu preferences and to record anonymised analytics (Plausible). We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. You can clear cookies from your browser at any time without affecting the site's functionality.
05 — Retention
Enquiry information that does not lead to a project is held for twelve months and then deleted. Project records are held for ten years from completion, in line with professional practice and the typical lifespan of a defects or warranty claim. After ten years, project records are either anonymised or deleted, unless you ask us to retain them.
06 — Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Confirm what information we hold about you.
- Provide a copy of that information in a portable format.
- Correct any factual error in the records.
- Delete information we no longer have a contractual or legal reason to hold.
- Stop sending you any non-essential communications.
Send the request to privacy@trustestate.pk. We respond within thirty days.
07 — Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in any material way, we will date the change at the top of the page and, for active clients, send a brief note by email. The policy in force at the time you submitted information to us is the policy that applies to that information.
